Warranty
Three years on every tool, counted from the day it reaches you. No registration, no card to post back, and we cover the cost of putting right a fault.

In brief
Every tool you buy from us is covered for three years from delivery. It applies automatically — there is nothing to register and no serial number to record. To claim, you need your order reference and a couple of photos. If a faulty tool has to travel, we arrange and pay for it both ways.
Where it comes from
This is the legal guarantee of conformity. EU law (Directive (EU) 2019/771) sets a minimum of two years in every member state, and Spanish law, which governs our sales, extends it to three years for new goods. If the law of the country you live in gives you more on any point, you keep that. The guarantee is owed by the seller, FLOFUM, S.L. of Barcelona, which trades here as Flarnex.
That matters in practice. If a trimmer stops working in its second summer, you deal with us, in plain language, rather than with a manufacturer’s service centre in another country.
What counts as a fault
- A motor that stops running or loses power in normal use
- A battery that will no longer hold a reasonable charge well inside the guarantee period
- A charger that stops charging
- A switch, trigger or safety lock that fails
- A housing or handle that cracks under normal use
During the first two years the law assumes a fault was there from the start, so it is up to us to show otherwise, not up to you to prove it. In the third year, a clear description of what happens and when helps us settle the claim quickly.
What it does not cover
Normal wear from use is not a fault. That includes trimmer line and cutting heads wearing down, a pruner blade dulling over a season, and the gradual, expected loss of battery capacity over many charges.
Damage from misuse or accidents is not covered either — for example cutting branches thicker than the tool is rated for, running a pressure washer dry without water, or leaving a tool out in the rain.
Making a claim
Email support@flarnex.com with your order reference, a sentence on what is wrong, and two photos. A short video is even better for a motor or battery problem. Most claims are settled from these alone.
If the tool needs to come back, we book the collection and pay for it. You will never be asked to pay to send a faulty tool to us.
How faults are put right
The law sets the order. First a repair or a replacement, whichever is quicker and easier for you. If neither is possible within a reasonable time, you choose between a partial refund and a full one. Refunds go by bank transfer, since you paid in cash.
After three years
The legal cover ends, but get in touch anyway. Spare batteries, chargers and cutting heads are often still available at the price of the part, and a tool that needs a new battery is not a tool that needs replacing.
