How it works

Returns

Two ways to send a tool back: at the door, or within 14 days of delivery. And how the money reaches you when you paid in cash.

Handing it back at the door

Open the box while the courier waits. If the tool is not the one you ordered, or it has arrived damaged, give the parcel straight back. You have paid nothing, so there is nothing to refund; the parcel returns to us at our cost and the order simply closes.

Changing your mind: 14 days

After you have accepted and paid for a parcel, you have 14 days from the day it arrived to tell us you no longer want it. EU consumer law gives you that right, and you do not have to say why.

  1. Email support@flarnex.com within those 14 days with your order reference and the tool you are sending back.
  2. We answer with the address for the return and a reference to write on the parcel. Please hold on until you have it, so the box can be matched to your order when it lands.
  3. Post the tool within 14 days of telling us.

How much use is fine

Check the tool the way you could in a shop: unpack it, fit the battery, start it up to hear it run, and see how it sits in your hand. Taking it round the garden for an afternoon goes further than that. If a tool comes back with wear that lowers its value, such as a trimmer head worn down on paving or a blade with sap on it, we may take that off the refund, and we tell you the amount before we do.

Send everything that came in the box: batteries, charger, spare heads, guards and the manual. The original packaging protects the tool best in the post, though a refund does not depend on it.

Faults, wrong items and transit damage

These are handled differently from a change of mind. A tool that is faulty is covered by the legal guarantee on the warranty page; one that is wrong or damaged in transit should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, as the delivery page explains. In all of these cases we book the collection and cover it.

Getting your money back

A cash payment cannot be reversed onto a card, so refunds are made by bank transfer. When the tool is back and has been checked, we email to ask for the account holder’s name and IBAN, use them for that single payment, and delete them once the bank confirms it.

The money is sent within 14 days of the tool reaching us, usually sooner. Allow a working day or two for your bank to show it.

We will never ring or email asking for a card number, and never for bank details before your returned tool has arrived. A message asking for either is not from Flarnex.

Batteries

Lithium batteries have to be packed and posted in a particular way. Leave them in the tool or in the original packaging, and we will include the right instructions with your return reference.

If we disagree

Write back to support@flarnex.com with the order reference and the outcome you think is fair, and someone else will look at it. If that does not settle it, your national consumer authority can help, and for a purchase from another EU country so can the European Consumer Centre where you live.

Your legal rights

This policy adds to your rights under Spanish and EU consumer law; it does not replace them. That includes the legal guarantee explained on the warranty page.
