How it works

Delivery

Always included in the price, whatever you order and however much it weighs. Here is how long it takes and what to expect on the day.

What delivery costs

Nothing extra. The total we email you is exactly what you hand the courier, with carriage already inside it. A single pruner and a full set of tools travel on the same terms — there is no free-delivery threshold to hit, no surcharge for heavy or awkward items like a trimmer with a long shaft, and no fee for paying in cash.

A handful of islands and remote regions travel on a separate carrier service with its own timings. Where yours does, a letter goes out quoting the extra carriage while the parcel is still with us, and walking away at that point costs nothing. Nothing is ever added at the door.

Where we deliver

To street addresses across the European Union: a home, a workplace or a reception desk, as long as someone is there to take the parcel and pay for it. Because the courier collects payment, a parcel locker, PO box or pick-up point cannot take a Flarnex parcel. Parcels are carried by third-party couriers working on our instructions.

How long it takes

Once we have rung you to pick a day, the parcel normally goes to the courier within one to two working days. The times below run from that day.

WhereWorking days in transit
Spain (mainland)1 to 3
France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg2 to 4
Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Croatia3 to 5
The Nordic and Baltic countries4 to 7
Greece, Romania, Bulgaria4 to 7
Islands and remote regions5 to 10, confirmed before it leaves

These are the usual ranges, not guarantees. Bad weather, strikes and the days around a public holiday can stretch them, and if a parcel runs late we chase the courier ourselves.

On the day

The day your parcel leaves us, you get an email with the courier’s name and a tracking reference; the first scan can take a few hours to appear. The courier will usually contact you on the day with a delivery window. Someone needs to be home to take it — with the cash too, if that is how you are settling — because the parcel cannot be left unpaid.

Open the box while the courier waits. Check the tool is the one you ordered and nothing is damaged. Refusing a parcel at the door is far easier than arranging a return later.

If you miss the courier

Couriers usually make two or three attempts, a working day apart, and leave a note each time so you can rearrange. If none of them works out, the parcel comes back to us and we get in touch to arrange another delivery or close the order.

Damaged or wrong item

Refuse it at the door and you pay nothing; it comes back to us at our cost. If you only spot damage after the courier has gone, email us within 48 hours with photos of the tool, the box and the shipping label, and keep the packaging until it is settled. Where the damage happened in transit, we collect the tool, send you a new one and cover the carriage in both directions. For anything else, see returns.

Changing the address

Before the parcel leaves, just email the new address. Once it is with the courier, whether it can be redirected depends on the courier, and we will tell you what is possible.

Paying at the door? Have the right amount ready. Drivers carry very little change, couriers carry very little change, and they cannot split a large note for a small order. A driver cannot take a card or a transfer either — that side of it happens on the checkout page.

Tracking a parcel

Email support@flarnex.com with your order reference. We see the same tracking information you do, but we can chase the courier if a parcel has stopped moving.
