From the shelf to your shed
Pick the tool, tell us where it is going, and choose how to settle up. We ring you before anything moves. Here is the whole of it, start to finish.
Plenty of shops take the money and hope you are pleased later. You can still do it the other way round here: pick cash on delivery and not a cent moves until the tool is at your door and you have looked it over. Card, if you would rather, is on the checkout page. Either way there is no account to open.
Step 1: Put it in the basket
Every tool carries one figure and that is the lot — VAT counted in, getting it to you counted in. Take as many as you need, in whatever quantity; they leave together and turn up as one delivery.
Not sure which tool you need? Describe the job. “Branches about as thick as a thumb on an apple tree” or “moss on a 20-metre driveway” tells us far more than a model number would.
Step 2: Leave your details
A name, a street address, an email and a number we can ring. Then say how you want to settle: the card form here, or cash with the driver. Choose cash and this page takes nothing — it ends with an order number, which reaches you by email as well.
If something turns out to be off the shelf we say so and tell you when it is due back. We never swap in a different model without asking.
Step 3: We ring you
Someone calls to check the order over and pick a delivery day that works. Change your mind on that call, or write to us afterwards, and it costs nothing right up until the parcel leaves us.
Step 4: It turns up
The parcel goes to the courier within one to two working days, with a tracking link. Open it while the driver is standing there. Settling in cash, that is the moment: count it out and keep the slip. If it is not what you ordered, hand it straight back — carriage home is ours, and a cash order leaves you nothing out of pocket.
Quick answers
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do I need an account? | No. There is nothing to sign up for. |
| When do I pay? | On the card form here, or at the door after checking the parcel. |
| Can I pay by card? | Yes, on the checkout page. Cash with the driver is still there if you prefer. |
| Is delivery extra? | No. It is already counted into the figure on the shelf. |
| Is there a minimum spend? | No. A single tool is a normal order. |
| Can I cancel? | Yes, free, up to dispatch — and you have 14 days after delivery to change your mind. |
You can still refuse it at the door. Even a confirmed order can go straight back with the driver. Paying cash, nothing had moved anyway; paying by card, the whole amount is returned.
